Every spring, the Monadnock Beekeepers Association hosts a New Beekeeper School for anyone interested in learning the art of beekeeping. This program consists of two classroom sessions taught by experienced beekeepers John Therriault and Bruce Harrison. The 2026 sessions will be held on February 7th and 14th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Stonewall Farm's Education Center, located at 242 Chesterfield Road in Keene.

After completing the classroom sessions, all participants will have the chance to purchase bees from the club and will be paired with an experienced beekeeper mentor for the season. In addition, participants in Beekeeper School will have the opportunity to attend monthly hands-on classes throughout the season, taught by club mentors.

A $160 fee per household must be paid upfront to hold your seat.
