Welcome to the exciting world of beekeeping!

Cost: If you have not signed up you can take individual classes for $35 each.


 

This complete series of classes will be taught with the help of:

Will Vogeley, professional beekeeper of Bee Tree Farm, Chesterfield, NH and
Jodi Forcier, Backyard Beekeeper


First two classes will be held at Stonewall Farm, 242 Chesterfield Road, Keene, NH. (Directions )



 

 

This complete series of classes will help guide you through the steps necessary to begin, keep and maintain healthy bees. For those who have signed up for the full course, you will receive all of the necessary start-up equipment and your first colony of bees. Everyone participating in the course will receive their textbook “Beekeeping for Dummies”, membership into the Monadnock Beekeeper’s Association and of course the class.

Starter Kits will be distributed at the first class on March 22. This kit will include your veil and gloves. You should also bring along or wear light-colored loose fitting clothing with long sleeves and pant legs. BOOTS RECOMMENDED - No open-toed shoes or short socks please.
